Sustainability at CEWE Group

We greatly values sustainable governance across all sectors. Our sustainability management is dedicated to our responsibility towards our employees, our social commitment, and our activities that aim to protect the environment. Sustainability is a primary concern of the Board of Management, our employees, and customers.

Our environmental strategy forms the basis for the company's environmental protection and resource conservation and is reviewed in annual audits. The reduction of environmental pollution and the conservation of natural resources are key concerns of the CEWE Group. Material topics include Climate Protection, Materials and Waste as well as the Environmental Management of water, air, and soil.

Social commitment is part of the CEWE Group's corporate culture. Funding priorities are people, the environment and photo culture - all of which represent many diverse projects which we fund and support. With donations, sponsoring and funding campaigns in local communities as well as internationally, the CEWE Group shapes a liveable society.

We were one of the first SDAX companies to establish transparent sustainability reporting: we have been recording and documenting our activities in an annual group-wide sustainability report since 2010. Since 2024, we have been reporting in accordance with CSRD and have integrated the sustainability report into the annual report. All reports are available for download here.
